Measures

Numerous measures exist to gain a full picture of a student's learning strengths and challenges. Following are examples of measures used to assess this Learner Factor. These measures should be administered and interpreted by experienced professionals.

Growth Mindset Scale: (Dwek & Chiu, 1995): A short survey for adolescents and adults asking how much they agree with three statements about whether their efforts can change their intelligence such as, “You can learn new things, but you can't really change your basic intelligence.”
