Measures

Numerous measures exist to gain a full picture of a student's learning strengths and challenges. Following are examples of measures used to assess this Learner Factor. These measures should be administered and interpreted by experienced professionals.

Brief Symptom Inventory (Derogatis, 1993): Self-report questionnaire to assess mental health, including depression, anxiety, and phobia, for individuals 13 and older.

Mathematics Anxiety Scale-UK (Hunt et al., 2011): Self-report questionnaire to assess emotional attitude toward numbers and mathematics tasks
