Early Reading Intervention Kit
Overview
For kindergarten and first grade students, Early Reading Intervention (ERI) provides small group lessons that take 20 to 30 minutes daily to practice and strengthen Alphabet Knowledge, Phonological Awareness, and Decoding skills.
- Teachers can use the teaching guides for each lesson, which includes seven activities that are divided into two 15-minute sections. For the first 15 minutes, students participate in activities focused on Phonological Awareness and Alphabet Knowledge. During the second half, they practice letter writing and spelling. Each activity is clearly explained and even includes time markers to help teachers pace their instruction.
