Overview
To promote acceptance of learning diversity, students explore learning tools and strategies to see how they work and why they and others might use them. Using a science fair model, tools are presented either as self-exploratory or with students explaining their purposes.
Example: Use This Strategy in the Classroom
Watch how elementary students participate in an instrument petting zoo to try playing different musical instruments. As a model of exploration, students have the opportunity to discover their own interests and challenges through experimentation, which could be applied to learning strategies and tools.

When peers work cooperatively to practice writing letters, words, and eventually longer sentences, their Foundational Writing Skills, including spelling and writing quality, improve.
